Our group performs experiments on foundations of quantum physics, quantum information and communication. We are located at the LMU University of Munich and at the Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching.

The QUBE mission is a pathfinder satellite
mission, evaluating optical sender modules for QKD, both at
850 nm as well as 1550 nm. Leveraging the CubeSat platform
significantly reduces costs, paving the way for scalable
and economic distribution of secure keys on a global scale.
